Fishing like Grandpa

The Beller kids had a session the other night at the lake. Their grandpa is a big fisherman and his wife wanted to surprise him with a print of the three grandkids fishing. We had so many great images, but this one was my favorite! Despite the tangles and catching branches and lake goo, we had a great time and let the kids just be kids!!

Fr. Jon Haschke's First Mass

Our classmate Jon was ordained a priest last weekend and performed his first mass the following Sunday. My dad and I were fortunate to get the opportunity to photograph his first mass. It was a really awesome experience and emotional for his family. Thanks Fr. Jon!

The Scherbert Family

I have quickly become friends with Jan from a group I joined in April. From the first day she knew she wanted a family portrait taken and her kids and parents were going to be in town over Memorial Day weekend. Her son is a stitch! He had us rolling the whole time!

The Future Pohlman's

Emily and Jason are a wonderful couple! I know Emily through an old coworker of mine back in the day and I have photographed the whole families wedding now!! What a great compliment! Looking forward to their August wedding!

Bill and Laura

Wow, what a great couple! They totally belong to each other and we had so much fun at their session Wednesday night. They have been so busy buying a house, planning the wedding and putting Bill through surgeries!! He is an avid soccer buff and has a few injuries. Get it over with now Bill!!! haha!

Craig and Hilary

I finally got to meet Hilary and Craig for their engagement session last night. My dad and I are shooting this wedding together in July!! I love every opportunity to shoot with my dad and these two are going to have way too many photos to choose from! haha!

Kathryn is 9 months

Believe me Kathryn is such a happy baby but I just melted when I took this image! She just looks so sweet and I wonder what she was thinking. Kathryn is a spitting image of her older brother Jackson from when he was 9 months!

Luke and Mandy are Getting Married!

Seriously...I had a blast with Luke and Katie! They let me do whatever I wanted for their engagement session, so we walked all over the Old Market Saturday morning. Mandy is one of my clients best friends so we had lots to talk about and Luke was so nice! They are planning a beautiful wedding in Kearney this coming August and I am so excited capture their wedding!

Jaime and Ivette's Engagement

Ivette and Jaime are a wonderful couple and I can't wait to shoot their wedding! They have such fun personalities and are obviously so photogenic! Despite the wind we had downtown we shot some really great images all because they let me do whatever I wanted. Believe me we walked all over!

Jamie & Gracyn Helget

This was such a sweet little session that Jamie wanted done of her and Gracie. Just a bunch of soft little smiles and it was all about her and her daughter. It was so fun and so relaxed that we were done before we knew it! Great job girls!

Cute Patooties!

Libby and Haydn were so great! The instant I arrived at their home Libby just started chatting up a storm and Haydn was all smiles with his big brown ladykiller eyes! The session was an adventure into the outdoors when the neighbor's huge dog Sage wanted to be in the photo. Haydn about fell off the chair when he barked! haha! It was so much fun.

Tayton is Awesome!

So Tayton is now three and I photographed him the first day of his life! Where has time gone! So as we are getting ready for the session, Megan and I were talking and he is just chatting right along and I say, Tayton you are an awesome kid. He replies with "I know." so matter of fact! haha!! This image pretty much wraps up the whole session and the energy this kid has!
